The Founder and current Vice President, (although entering retirement stage) for Robinson Printing, Inc. was born & raised in Southeast Colorado. He attended schools in Las Animas, CO and received his Bachelor's degree from Adams State College in Alamosa. Many have known him as an entertainer, having played in dance bands and appeared as a solo lounge act from his high school days through the mid-seventies. He also has been an Amateur Radio operator (W0IDX) since 1960.

He was the owner-operator of the business from June 1, 1965 until December 31, 2001. In that time frame, he has served his community in Jaycees, Lions, Chamber of Commerce, Honkers, Elks, Rotary, Airport Board, Hospice Board and Rotary Youth Leadership, He has been president of Lamar Area Hospice Board, Honkers, Chamber, Rotary and co-chairman of Youth Leadership and Lamar's Enchanted Forest. He has been honored, as Lamar's Citizen of the Year.

He States "...our business has survived because of our community service and our constant efforts in satisfying customers."

 

 

Mitzi Robinson

Our Secretary, Treasurer is the wife of Lee Robinson since March 1956. She spent the first years of married life devotedly raising the three Robinson boys: John, Rick and Randy. When they were off on their own, she joined full-time in the business and has since retired with her husband.

The President/Owner and General Manager of our company has spent a major portion of his life working in the business. He attended College at the University of Southern Colorado in Pueblo and fathered two daughters Brooklynd and Breanna. He has recently assumed the role as Owner/Manager and is looking forward to many years of continued success for Robinson Printing, Inc.

Rick Robinson Rick Robinson

The second son of the Robinsons spent his share of his childhood helping out in the business, going on to live in Pueblo. Rick currently sells new and used cars for Pueblo Toyota in Pueblo. He is a caring and professional sales person and has a good customer following from his past sales efforts over many years.

Randy Robinson

Has recently resumed a key role in our business as  production manager, while still sharing some customer interaction tasks.  He married a native Nebraskan, Kristi and they produced the first grandson, Logan, in the Robinson Family. They since have added another granddaughter, Baylee Jean and our newest family member grandson Christopher Randal.

Sammi, the blue merle Shetland Sheepdog on the left here can occasionally be seen in our front office, where she often greets our customers at the front door.  Many of our friends and customers look forward to seeing her.  Sage seen here on the right is remembered here as her "brother/house-mate" for he has recently passed on.
